DESCRIPTION

Pathly was developed to address the fundamental flaws in traditional job boards, which often rely on static listings that ignore a user's physical context, current activities, and immediate surroundings. Through extensive research and stakeholder interviews, it was identified that job seekers are frequently overwhelmed by irrelevant opportunities, while companies struggle to connect with qualified candidates nearby. This disconnect between physical locations and digital platforms creates significant inefficiencies, limiting access to quality employment, particularly in high-mobility urban environments.

PROCESS

The development of Pathly followed a rigorous user-centered design approach, integrating both quantitative research and direct interviews with recruiters and HR stakeholders. To ensure the platform truly met user needs, market and competitor analyses were conducted alongside the application of the Kano Model and MoSCoW frameworks to prioritize features that drive maximum satisfaction. A key insight emerged from this process: users do not want an endless list of jobs; they seek a curated selection of relevant opportunities that align precisely with their professional profile and geographic location.

IMPACT

Pathly revolutionizes the recruitment landscape by introducing a context-aware discovery experience powered by Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Through AR Job Scanning, users can visualize nearby openings overlaid in real space, while AI CV Matching ensures every opportunity shown is tailored to their specific skills and preferences. Combined with Beacon Job Broadcasting for real-time local updates and AI-powered interview practice, Pathly transforms the traditional job hunt into a personalized, location-based, and highly interactive experience.
